The University of Qaran is one of the best nationalized and higher educational institutions in the Democratic Republic of Somalia, which promotes the well-being of our people in the Name of excellence knowledge and educational brighter future for generations after generations.
The University of Qaran (UOQ) was founded officially on 1st of Janaury 2000 by Ambassador Dr. Badal W. Kariye and Dr. Hussein Hassan Jibril who were members of Somalia's elite personalities. The University of Qaran (UOQ) is also virtual University where you can study online for Certificate Programs and Degrees while you have the chance to improve your educational aptitude in todays' global demands.
Any Somali student with high school living certificate or SCE (GED) completion can enroll directly by verifying his documents for doing and taking the required entry examination for the University of Qaran (UOQ). The University of Qaran has the right to accept or deny your application if you do not meet the requirements.
The University of Qaran (UOQ) will take the Examination in traditional class room or online examination, which opens periodically.

The President of of the Democratic Republic of Somalia appoints the President of the University of Qaran (UOQ) therefore; the Chairman and the Board of Regents are officially appointed by the President of the University of Qaran (UOQ) in consultation with the academic faculties, collges, institutes and departments. The University of Qaran (UOQ) is also virtually higher learning and educational Institution that provides updated E-study programs where you can choose what you need to enroll and when you need it.
